First orienteering race of the season at Stony Swamp. It was very wet and pretty cold and windy. I had a good race with no real mistakes, but some route choices could be better.

Running training at Frank Ryan Park. we started with a few loops of the forest trail for warm-up, then did some sets of a loop around the edge of the park on the grass, a loop in the forest with controls we had to go to, then a loop on the road. knees were sore, so after 2 sets I just did the rest of the loops on the grass. 2 more grass loops for cool down.

Orienteering training on the Kanata Lakes map at Innovation Drive. started with 2 pace counting and compass squares, then did 5 interval loops. the woods were really nice.
