Braids, very slow on the uphill, knew I should have attacked more but hadn't realised quite how slow it would be downhill after that, very stuck on the steep bits but feeling pretty good on the small paths back along the edge of the golf course
Once in Sweden I thought it would be good training to go night orienteering without a compass - I found two controls, ran off the map and thought I had learnt my lesson. Somehow when forgetting my compass for the Falkirk wheel I also forgot this and thought it would be fine. I also had clearly not quite remembered what the area was like - was not expecting flat featureless bog and scary stream crossings. I did manage to locate most of the controls in almost the correct order but not my best orienteering experience. The treacle sponge in the pub afterwards made things better though
