2 x sprint in Danish sprint relay, first one racing, second running hard but not 100%, really good fun! First ever sprint relay and it was great

Danish sprint champs, arrived fairly late but still got to run though course was quite busy, hadn't quite figured out which side to pass people on in narrow passageway! Tricky and was fooled by 18 plus got couple of route choices wrong, much improved from Wednesday though and feeling better :)

Very jealous of those who got to do WOC in Venice, was amazing. Slightly difficult to compare (as i ran the boys course and would have been last!) but roughly good enough second half for 13/14th in girls, still need to get faster but getting there, much better than the speed I was running in February

Started the day with glass factory tour and shopping on murano before boat over to burano for WOC qualifier and then Venice for a late evening final

Glen dye which is a lovely area if you are in the right frame of mind. Given that I couldn't really understand/take in any information from the map I think the only learning from today was if you have a week quite that dire then don't expect to have enough mental energy for a tough long race. Weather also major contrast from my sunny sprint camp, glad to be sticking to sprint
