Didn't sleep well again and felt equally unkeen to get up as I did Sunday morning but this time with an actual sore throat:( so cancelled the morning run and have eaten a ridiculous quantity of satsumas for the vitamin C and am making smoothies tonight. Feeling not too bad now so think a rest day was a good thing and anyway had done 7 hours of running in about 40 hours over weekend so that wasn't bad

Home from work with fairly heavy bag full of the masses of running kit that appears to have accumulated in my office over the last week, finding running with a bag totally fine now and 2nd session of the day felt good, time to start some proper long runs! And should probably get some hill practice in for the sand dunes

The first 20 mins were hideous and I wasn't sure I was going to make it, legs felt fine, head less so but then it was great, lovely sunset at top of arthur's seat and felt much better by the time I got home and didn't even need to make emergency coke run this week!
