Still rough in the morning. Better in the evening. Will pick up some probiotics tomorrow and should be close to 100%. Tired and felt off all day.

Horribly sick today. Katie thinks I ate some bad chicken last night (food poisoning -- salmonella?). Woke up with diarrhea but felt OK. Had breakfast and drove to Blackstar. Lost my breakfast about a mile in at Blackstar. Lost it out of both ends multiple times going up Blackstar. No power in legs, dizziness, stomach cramping, major fatigue. Turned around before top of Blackstar, drove home and continue to lose fluids (down to 151 lb).

Not good. Didn't get a solid ride in and have to start moving this weekend (Uhaul truck in driveway now). Bummed.

Post-work GMR loop with Chris. Up GMR to GRR and down Baldy. Rode over to GMR ~45 min in OD, climbed mostly in tempo. Wanted to go faster during the climb but kept HR in range. Felt OK, I think Traverse course on Saturday will be tough. Looking forward to getting back to the Santa Anas though.

Taco Tuesday last night, never get as much sleep as I should. Feel OK this morning, Legs a bit sore from yesterday's effort. Easy ride today, might be a long day at work.

Starting to wonder if I don't need 8 hours every night. Been waking up the last few days just before my alarm. Still want to stay in bed but that's due to morning laziness. Back on the bike today with 3x20 up GMR, no soreness in legs (yet).

SOLID effort tonight. Very happy with how I recovered over the past two days. Sunday the legs were rough and even walking up hills was painful. Yesterday the legs weren't too bad but I was tired in general. Today I felt great. Hammered out a productive day at work and hit the road bike feeling strong and ready for 3x20 intervals. Heart rate was very responsive, would kick up during extra hard efforts and LT felt normal at about 190 (maybe a beat low).

#1 - 3.97 miles, 1162' climb, 11.9 mph, 186 bpm avg (180-191 bpm)
#2 - 3.77 miles, 1139' climb, 11.3 mph, 184 bpm avg (179-190 bpm)
#3 - 3.73 miles, 1117' climb, 11.2 mph, 184 bpm avg (179-190 bpm)

Picked up HR too quickly on first interval, had trouble keeping it high at the end. Much more smooth for #2 and #3, and compared to last week's 3x20 did not spend nearly as much time standing today to keep HR up.
