Orienteering race 1:00:45 [4] ** 8.0 km (7:36 / km)
25c shoes: Jalas FLX

course around Donadea. made two mistakes, one cause of the map and another cause I was silly. the map one was maybe 40 secs? me one about 20. It was good for a run on tracks in a forest and a bit of nettles.

And there was one leg where I thought it would be better to go back out to the road judging by how the map had represented green in the past, but that route choice lost me a minute and a half to Conor

Arrived very late because of a combination of bus issues due to the queen and conor having tests, but did pick up some controls

Prince Williams Seat Hill Run.

Started maybe a bit far back in the bunch which was bad today cause there was a lot of congestion in the tight piece of forest but it is fun passing lots of people out. Could see Conor and Brian just in front of me nearly the whole way but couldn't quite catch up with them. The paths were really nice, lots of narrow and boggy bits but good running.
Then I hit the top... The descent was fantastic, off the top was bog gaining positions closing in on Conor, 10m of track, more bog with stones and tecnhicality! Passed conor by bursting through the slightly wider forest part, 5m of track, into the dark forest could only see the people in front of me, went for it a few times and passed a few out, risking my well being. Right behind Brian for the next 10m of track. Then I epically passed him by jumping straight over a bank instead of going around it like everyone else did, took another position jumping the barrier. So much fun.

Time is not accurate ill fix it when i can.

Colm I gave your Obox to Kyle
