Orienteering race 43:54 [3] ***
shoes: VJs in France

IOC Middle Coumshingaun. 5th in 43:54, Niamh won in 33:17. This was fun. A lot of the controls weren't very testing, and there were quite few legs where other courses were going in reverse, but after the climb up to the lake it was basically all downhill which is nice. Pretty clean run, a few hesitations (6, 8) and went off route a bit to 12. The forest was a good finish.
Went pretty cautiously on the downhills, ribs were improved after the run.

Walk up to the start, very cautiously, ribs a bit sore.

Went down to Ballymore to try running, managed 3 slow laps & had to give up, sharp pain with every deep breath.

Brockagh. Very gingerly round Green course. Nice day to be out but very frustrating having to go slowly and even more frustrating that the standard was Yellow to Red.
