Enjoyed this, probably because I managed to get totally focused on the orienteering, and there wasn’t a huge amount of distracting track running – much less than expected from the descriptions of the forest & the map up at the start which had lots & lots of green and not many features in the white. Nice clean deliberate run, 1 wobble at 14 using the magnifier to plan ahead and lost the overall picture, and a couple of disagreements with vegetation. Happy with the win.

Sprint Relay training. Geoffrey C - Ruth - Darren then all ran 4th leg. We didn't win. Good fun, lost time in the forest near the end both times.
