Leinster Champs, 1st.
Good start on this, maybe went out a bit too fast though. I was feeling confident about going up the hills after the Lales w/e. Even it supposedly had the same amount of climb on the course lengths AP says I did 200m more today and I definitely felt it. I was a little bit worried about the cold, but I apart from being a bit coughy at the start seemed ok.
Not much to say about the first few, poor route going through the green to 8.
I got quite scrappy at the end. I should have gone straighter to 13, I ended up going around the road a bit much. I wasn't expecting to lose 30 secs though. 16 was badddd ~2min parallel error, went down the first river instead of the second one...
18 I think I can blame the map for, I lost a minute stuck in brambles which other people apparently found nice ways through.
Edit: the brambles are on the map, you can see them on RG, but are really hard to see at 1:15000
Held on to the lead though so I guess my start was good enough.
Still a bit to improve on, can't keep making mistakes like that at the end.
