Local race on long relevant terrain, only 7.2km though. Was feeling good earlier so decided to run fast and see what happened. Started really good, tried the
Thierry tactic of just going straight. I tend to drift a bit, and every bit off the line I am is extra distance that he's not running, and he runs that distance faster too so I have to be accurate.
Still, the legs felt good and I was getting the controls well enough, some small slips in the circle. After 9 though my stomach was at me again so I couldn't push myself. Still orienteered pretty well but just couldn't run, even though the legs were fine. Don't really know what's wrong, but I've switched to bottled water now, see if that helps.
