skjog 1:17:00 [2] 12.0 km (6:25 / km)

Jog in skog aka skjog (copyright 2018 @han_solo)

Felt light without 25kg cables and electrodes to carry. Calf muscles pretty tight.

Friday Nov 16, 2018 #

tug of war 30:00 [0] 0.27 km (1:51:07 / km)

With a bit of mental training aka untangling cables.

walk in skog 1:00:00 [0]

kept my feet (relatively) dry today...by sending the others into the middle of the standing water to place electrodes. Delegation at its best.

Thursday Nov 15, 2018 #

walk in skog hills (with weights) 20:00 [0] 0.85 km (23:32 / km) +150m 12:30 / km

Slightly shorter today due to malfunctioning equipment. Bonus mental training trying to fix the problem all afternoon. Eventual success.

tug of war (electrode cable league) 45:00 [0]

Lizzie vs undergrowth. Final score: Lizzie 4 - terrain 0

other (walk in bog) 20:00 [0]

Just to liven things up from the usual walk in skog

Wednesday Nov 14, 2018 #

To the van and back to get a new car battery for the equipment.

bog diving 15:00 [0]

diving for electrodes.

Tuesday Nov 13, 2018 #

walk in skog 4:00:00 [0]

Releasing my inner gangster and spray-painting innocent trees and rocks.

Monday Nov 12, 2018 #

Note

Long day getting everything ready and mobilised down to Mandal for fieldwork. Even in the dark I can see there are decent hills here though. Which is exciting for running, maybe not so much for the fieldwork though? we'll see.

Running 1:37:00 [2] 14.4 km (6:44 / km) +280m 6:08 / km

Convinced Kine to come to Ertemarka for our long run (didn't take much convincing :) Very happy she came as my legs weren't up to Eva-Fredrik-Jo long run pace after yesterday. So a really nice, sociable and very wet long run. Managed to not cark it on any of the wooden boardwalks or bridges, which is a rare and valuable win in my books.
