Tiop WU. Feeling rough. Managed to put a little donut of tissue paper around my bothersome achilles though, which took care of it nicely.

Last leg for HSK2. Mental stuff and memories playing on my mind of course, but managed to build myself into the race. Never able to hit full intensity, but was happy with my focus and my navigation. Managed the run through A OK, and was catching teams the whole way, not the other way around.
Ended up coming toward the finish with 3 other teams that I had caught, but let them go as I didn't want to push myself over the edge in the finish chute. That didn't quite go to plan, but yeah. We live and learn. Big steps made since last year. More to go.
....and hip flexor finally settled down again.
Jog with Andreas (except we both ran faster than we intended) up lyslopa to Hoias, and some drills. Just as well I haven't run since Saturday cos the tiny cut and bruise on my achilles was absolute agony! Running shoes were bearable. o-shoes, not so much...hmm

Cycled out to football training for out team photo. But it being cold and windy, I dithered a bit too long at home and was 5mins late...missed the photo! haha. That's OK though, I don't have any club kit anyhow, so would have been hiding out the back of the photo.
From there, decided to bike over to Sweden. Which didn't take long. Bought some token godis, then rode back over the bridge and navigated via trial and error up to the old gun emplacements on top of hjemkollen. Nice views. Bit windy to enjoy them though. Trucked back home into the head wind.
For anyone interested, there's a 48 seater kids train for sale out by the old bridge. WOC team transport?
I also saw to storks. They still look ridiculous when they fly.
Hip flexor still tweaking when doing stuff around the house.

Promised Vendula I wouldn't run today.
Beaut day so eventually dragged myself out for a spin. Kine opted for indoor cycling, stating that it was too cold outside and warning me that my butt and fingers would freeze.
For the record, my butt was toasty and warm (enough insulation there ;) And my fingers can still type on this keyboard. Which is a shame really, cos now I'll have to work this week...
