Orienteering race 40:04 [4] 5.64 km (7:06 / km)

Not a clean run by far, with over 5mins of mistakes. But one heck of a cool area.

Orienteering 25:00 [3]

went back out and ran a mix of the mens course.

Orienteering race 28:28 [3] 5.45 km (5:13 / km)

Fast and fun. Clean bar for #14 being mapped in the wrong place - 1min lost there.

Running 48:20 [3] 9.4 km (5:09 / km)

Thought I'd lost my chance for the day when the boss showed up at the lab at 3.30. But he just did his usual general round up of where everyone was at, before heading off again...Promptly followed by everyone else leaving ~4 haha.

Single tracks on Blackie N and Bruce Ridge.

Running 1:01:00 [3] 11.4 km (5:21 / km)

From the lab, up, around and over Blackie. Off track down the south side...then wanted to head over to the Arboretum for somewhere new to explore. But got a little disoriented and ended up at the start of the Aranda Snow Gums loop. Which suited me fine in the end.

Strength and Conditioning 25:00 [1]

Back into it after coming off the rails a bit last week.
4 PM

Running 37:00 [3] 6.96 km (5:19 / km)

Had to stay at the lab all day to supervise visitors, so couldn't sneak out for a run til 4.30. Which gave me 45mins before I was meant to meet C+R.

started through the botanics, then was overcome with something that might have been motivation - did my first hill sprint session in ages. A nice one too - just next to the amphitheatre. ~29s sprint, 40s recovery. Didn't do too many, due to time constraint (good excuse anyway)

Running 25:00 [3] 4.85 km (5:09 / km)

Thought I'd go for a moonlit run up Majura. But after 200m, as I went to turn onto the single track I discovered my headlamp was dead. So turned into a real moonlit run, sticking to the fire trails. Loop over HH. Turns out roos just can't figure out what's going on when you don't have a bright light on your head.

Spent most of the day at Tidbinbilla with my brother and his wife and son. Achievement of the day was teaching 21month old Luke to point and say 'big rock' every time he saw a nice bit of granite. He seemed a bit lost when I tried to teach him the difference between a boulder and a boulder cluster though.
