Lacking in something this morning (energy, discipline, fortitude?). I'd thought about a dozen quarters, quickly revised it to 8 after I started running, then bagged that idea. Ended up with 4x400 on a 2:30 cycle, and then 3x200 on a 1:15 cycle. At least I was putting out, just the usual situation these days, working hard and going slow.
I'd also thought about doing a few quarters and then seeing what I could run a mile or a 3000 in, but that quickly lost all appeal and clearly wasn't going to happen. But one of these weeks I need to test myself.

On the plus side, the basic goal today was running a little faster at shorter distances, and that was done.

And then 2 miles afterwards at a steady pace. Reasonably boring, only one on the track, should have put the headphones on.
