nautilus 35:00 [1]
rhr:51 weight:138.5lbs

Seemed hard, or maybe the room was just a little warm.

treadmill 8:40 [3] 1.0 mi (8:40 / mi)

treadmill 22:17 [4] 3.11 mi (7:10 / mi)

5K tempo run, though this was a little quicker than the last one ad closer to all out. Pulse in the `50s, upper 150s at the end. 7:13, 7:11, 7:06, 47.

Progress, but need to remind myself that this is a little bogus because it is easier on the treadmill.

treadmill 8:42 [3] 1.0 mi (8:42 / mi)

And another mile slower.

rogaine base building 10:00 [1] 0.6 mi (16:40 / mi)

And the usual 5 minutes before and after, 5%.

Note

Out for movies both nights this weekend. First up was Wendy and Lucy, which Gail didn't care for much and I was sort of luke-warm on, "slim" was the adjective that came to mind, like a book with not too many pages, large print, and wide margins. But it also had a certain appeal and seems like it will stick in my mind for a while.

And then Gomorrah this evening, which I talked Gail into seeing, and which we both enjoyed a lot. Many people gunned down, but felt much less violent (and artificial) than expected. Very interesting.

And, in a reminder that the mind works in mysterious ways, the opening scene -- dark, loud noises, seemed like big machinery was being operated -- flipped back to about 2 am at the rogaine in Estonia where out in the middle of nowhere a guy was running a big logging machine in the middle of the night. A bit unnerving and we were glad to be past him. Did he work for the mob?

Saturday even included a box of popcorn....
