Running 2:00:05 intensity: (8:50 @1) + (1:12:05 @2) + (39:10 @3) 25.39 km (4:44 / km) +358m 4:25 / km
ahr:149 max:169 shoes: NB 1080 T1

Easy cruise round BBM

Wasn't forcing it, but was running at a decent intensity so ended up being a bit quicker than the last few times here. Basically been tapering for 10 days so not surprised I had a bit more energy to play with.

Running 1:15:18 intensity: (1:01 @1) + (51:23 @2) + (22:54 @3) 17.37 km (4:20 / km) +61m 4:16 / km
ahr:152 max:168 shoes: NB 1080 T1

Easy cruise along the WoL

Normally, if I'd had a week like this I probably would have made this into a raz just to get a bit of quality and fast pace, but I didn't want to put any extra pressure through the toe to make sure it gets fully healed.

Running 1:15:19 intensity: (24:40 @1) + (50:00 @2) + (39 @3) 14.25 km (5:17 / km) +211m 4:55 / km
ahr:138 max:160 shoes: NB 1080 T1

Easy round BBM

Normally this would be a double day, buy just keeping it at a single because I I want to keep my compeed on as long as possible. Tried to keep it really easy at the start, then got into it a bit more once I hit Mortonhall, still keeping it chill though. Leg's still pretty pickled from their time off.

Running 1:15:33 intensity: (1:23 @1) + (1:01:03 @2) + (13:07 @3) 17.67 km (4:17 / km) +73m 4:11 / km
ahr:149 max:161 shoes: NB 1080 T1

Easy cruise on the Pencaitland railway

Legs a bit mashed from yesterday, quite impressed by how much the muscles seemed to have degraded in just 5 days off running. Aerobically im good shape, as the CV system has had 5 easy days in a row. Foot feeling fine, good stuff.

Wednesday Oct 14 #

7 PM

Running 1:16:09 intensity: (36:04 @1) + (40:03 @2) + (2 @3) 16.07 km (4:44 / km) +26m 4:42 / km
ahr:135 max:156 shoes: NB 1080 T1

Easy round the Meadows

Blister seems to finally be at the stage where the skin looks vaguely human. Put a new compeed on and tried a micro jog in the flat. Everything felt gucci, so went down to the Meadows in case I needed to bail. Felt fine for the whole run, legs had turned into Turkey meat with 5 days off, so a bit of soreness there. Onwards then.

Cycling 2:19:46 intensity: (1:25:33 @1) + (51:53 @2) + (2:20 @3)
ahr:130 max:161

Easy Lang Whang, 60.79 km (26.1 kph) +482m

Bit of a late one, but got it done. Legs felt a bit tired from last few days of riding and S&C on Monday. Foot healing nicely, so shouldn't be much longer.

Monday Oct 12 #

11 AM

Cycling 2:06:57 intensity: (1:28:09 @1) + (38:31 @2) + (17 @3)
ahr:128 max:157

Easy out to Aberlady, 57.85 km (27.3 kph) +200m

Absolutely minging weather. This would have been on the rollers, but when I looked at Strava Spud and Sarah had already been out, so thought it would be pretty weak to train indoors. Rain was bad, rear disc breaks and derailleur deciding to pack in for no reason was worse. Wool socks for the win though.
