Gentle run along the river and canal with Nic. Legs felt tired but not really drained which is encouraging. A beautiful evening.

Last long run before MvH.
Thought I'd go out and run a very steady pace with as many hills as I could find in a loop from home.

Weather cool and a little blustery where exposed but generally quite comfortable for running.

Pleased I got to 29 km before I needed to stretch calves and even then that was only a little tight.

Have just checked documents and race is 3000ft of ascent. I've completed about 2600ft. Things feel a little more confident now.

Quick burst round the 4 mile loop before work as I was working late. Did intend to do 8 miles but hamstrings feeling very tight.

A run is better than no-run but it didn't feel as easy as at the weekend.

Up on the moor for summer running with A, Chris & Logie.

A lovely evening, albeit a little cold in the wind on the top.

Running generally felt good and am a little more confident about MvH.
