Course: 12.7 km
Well i tossed and turned all night contemplating running this. I started out, and let the pack dissapear. It was fun to watch David B swearing at the first control after he realised he had followed the wrong pack! I was on my own for much of the race after that and even took the time to stop for a pee. Completed the first two loops with little error, but slow. At the start of the thrid loop I took my time to look at the map and weighed up the options. I keep thinking back and wish i had kept going now. But i am in actual pain with my back from the sprint race, and i doubt another 6km would have helped much. The bits of the map we were to go in on the last loop wer a big repeat on what we had already done and would have taken another 30min for me to reach the exciting new bit we hadn't run in. And Ben was standing at the finish which also helped make my decision not to keep going. So the pin was pulled and Roch gave me shit on the PA. The cake stall got patronised by me (by patronised i mean the act of being a patron). Long ride home in pain.

Course: Sprint 3.25 km
The Sprints are my favourite. Felt pretty good at the start and was clean throughout the race. I jarred my back at #16 and i am paying for it now. I was trying to get under 20' and at the last control i checked my watch to see i had less than 1 minute to spare. Luckily i forgot i started my watch a minute early, so i came in well under 20'!

Course: 5.4 km
Running with the big boys again. I took off at my own pace and ran my own race. It was kind of sloppy at the beginning but improved throughout the race. Didn't like the long legs but ate up the short techy stuff. I was overall pleased with my effort, even though the numbers don't show it on the board.

Normal Redwoods up and back. Wasn't feeling the running love all that much. But I did it.

I did the long course again, but forgot to start my watch. It was fun and fast and crazy at the north end. This was a surprisingly worth while sprint map. Had fun, nearly beat Jenny.
