Long run, It was long. I had to get up early on a Sunday morning for this? - These are all things that FernWerm suggested i write for my Attackpoint torg for this run. Some of them are quite true. A fun run all the same, made even better by the company! To tired to write anything interesting abou the run though...

Up to the Redwoods and back with the crew. John kept me a good pace, and he is much more my speed at the moment, so i will have to match (or better) his training as he still recovers to get me into a better position for the 2012 season.....

Waitpinga Camp to Victor Harbor
Victor Harbor. Burned 1110 calories.

This day was just amazing, i've seen this coast from the Jabiru, but it was equalled by the view from the Heysen Trail. A lot of Newland Head Conservation Park has been burnt and so about a third of our walk today was through rather blackened limbs. This made the view quite good to the coast, but it lacked the flowers and the animals - other than scary big ants... Once we got past all the burnt bits the flowers, birds, animals and rock-climbers all appeared to make it a very memorable walk. My boots were starting to hurt my big toes again and my left boot was over-tight and caused a blister on the ball of my foot. The new trail from along the coast to the bluff is coming along quite nicely. It was a shame that we had another 7km along bitumen road into our pick up point, but there was still heaps to see along the way. I was craving a hot dog and hot chips with a chocolate milkshake which was easily procured at the end of the walk!
