Certainly didn't expect to get in the medals today! Steady through the first rocky section, then tried to push harder on the open moor (but watching the compass closely, as there wasn't much else to navigate by). Walked up the steep hills.

Number 24 did seem at least one contour too high, so no surprise when Bill came in and said it was wrong. That's what my GPS trace shows too. Luckily for me someone punched it when I started wandering where it was.

British Sprints. Loughborough University. M50. A Final. 6th.

A couple of small hesitations and possibly a couple of sub-optimal routes, but generally happy with my run. A pity I couldn't have been 10 seconds quicker - that would have been Silver medal.
