Orienteering race 17:26 [3] 3.26 km (5:20 / km) +34m 5:05 / km

Big 5 O, Day 5, Kruger Park Lodge. M50, 2.8km, 56m, 1st.

A sprint in a golf course resort. Technically not hard, the biggest challenge was the heat (about 33C). Pleased to finally get a win in M50, but the win in the 5-day competition was already decided, so I ended up 2nd.

Orienteering race 53:35 [3] 6.67 km (8:02 / km) +249m 6:46 / km

Big 5 O, Day 4, London Plantation. M50, 6.1km, 200m. 2nd.

Technically very good today, if a little cautious. When I downloaded I had no punch for #4, but I certainly punched it, as my EMIT backup card prooved.

Beaten again by the Swede Robert Palm, who must also have had a good run today.
