Walking 24:00 [1] 2.25 km (10:40 / km)

Very nice day

Usual fare

Track intervals 3:56 intensity: (3:00 @3) + (56 @4) 1.2 km (3:17 / km)

Lethargic (JL) and heavy legged (yesterday's wo) so didn't feel like a real speed workout. On the theory that at least something is better than nothing and moreover, less is more, ventured forth with a 4x200 wo at cruise pace. Aim was to keep consistent times within +/-0.5s. Recovery walk across diagonal 1:45-1:50. Didn't feel overly taxed, so did 6 and decided to stop there. As follows:
39.4, 39.1, 39.8, 39.7, 39.0, 39.2 (Avg= 39.4, mission accomplished)

Walking warm up/down 7:30 [1] 1.0 km (7:30 / km)

Dynamic- stiff knees and quads today from sitting- loosened up OK.

Usual routine plus squats and lunges. Then short speed work. 4x50m strides then 5x c80m (9-10sec) standing start sprints to mimic 400 start (figure I've got a second right there utilizing Anerobic ATP-CP system to get out fast). Managed not to strain anything and kept on top of toes to avoid slipping on grass (regular Ravenna sneakers)
