Sunny, ice melting day.

Course setting. Man that was hard work schlepping through the crust. Got stuck on a virgin slope in the woods and had to back down.

Took advantage of the milder temps to clear some ice and make some channels.

Course setting hike. Post holing through 2 foot of snow. Most of the neat point features totally covered.

Crud got on the chest. Time to resort to the old z pack.

Anyhow I see why folk retire down here and also know why I couldn't (ways off anyhow). Mind you once in awhile, time in Disney world for adults is Just fine.

Waiting to board at RSW. Funny how folk heading to MSP look kinda happy and kinda sad at the same time. Anyhow nice week off from the rat race (work intruded twice only for critical issues) and a nice break from regular training.

Extending the area under the time by solar exposure curve. Half way through a Jo Nesbo thriller.

A little bit of barefoot technique work- soft vs hard sand. Tried a few beach sprints just for fun. Brought back memories of 40 years ago running bare foot XC for UWA on the sandy trails of Kings Park in Perth. Probably trying to emulate one Jim Langford a West Aussie farmer and the only person to beat the great Ron Clark on Aussie turf.
