Stuffed up km markers so the 13:22 is actually 1.5km so taken it proportionally. Only ran the last bit of the finish straight so final 1km not as fast as the jog from the Westcott Way marker.
Earlier times are faster so middle isn't much of a gain.

Week 2 of Stage 3 at Heaton PS. A little unsettled and groups switched and the dreaded Naplan trials happening. But the Yr 6 kids were fantastic! My little sponges!

Got a lot going on in my head and really I was just filling in time if I was needed for a meeting. Hence elected to do the Short Moderate course. The gentle rain had dampened thevegetationt and gave us a false sense of forest dampness. Temp was great and no wind. So it was the gentle bushwalk I was seeking. I didnt tape my ankles so as to deter any thoughts of running.
What a wonderful time I had. The course was fantastic - exciting, interesting and just the right level of difficulty for Moderate. JL did a great job at very short notice. Only stumbled on the knoll/rocky ground control where I went in too early trying to make the land fit and as it is rocky all the way along the "nose" that wasn't difficult to do. JL agreed with me there.
I thoroughly enjoyed the expericne, not needed for meeting but got an earful from one side; caught up with 2 others i needed to see and that was it.
HOme for shower, drive, glimpses of the netball :-(( and working on clearing out f-i-l's house.
