Still not convinced it was enough

Park Run (Callaghan) 42:03 [3]

Only really pleasing bit was running all the way up the last bush hill and all the way up Don Morris hill. Far too much non-running but there was a conspiracy going on between legs and lungs and head.

gym class (Body Sculpt) 50:00 [4]

Late to class after washing machine/tubs overflow due to inattention by someone (me).
Good solid class but no flair. Still I'm pleased Melissa is getting some traction and acceptance within the fraternity.
Found myself doing jump pushups, no less, on my feet which was a big surprise to me. Jumping is improving. But my bear crawling isn't. Must consult with Astrid.

gym class (Cross Trainer) 1:00:00 [5]

First Wednesday since late last September due to Street Series then Park Series then rockman's chemo appointments so this was both a shock and a treat.
Apparently shoulders were the focus and tomorrow I will be reminded of that big time. In the push up challenge I pushed out 71 in the first 90 second challenge - much to Ralph's disappointment as he'd done 70 but bright eyes at the back did 82. Very surprised I was so "competitive" (ie don't care). But later when we repeated the challenge which was interspersed with burpees and star jumps for 90 seconds I was determined to push out 82 and I did - 85. Oh how it hurt but I wasn't going to give in. For someone who was told she had a frozen shoulder again and I wouldn't be totally right for 6-18 months I've obviously opted for the 6 month version.
So to the psychology of me - how come I can tough it out for upper body but not for running? Mind really switches on for upper body and turns off ever so quickly for legs.

Note

Hunter Region Schools today at Mining Mystery. Good courses by former Champ Kim were well received. My Irrawang kids did really well, with a win on a Line course and 3x 2nd and 2 x3rds. Plus a couple of 2nds and a 3rd on the Score course. Ran the Finish Desk and most of the Start Desk (allocating times) for the Line course. Printed labels made it very easy. Great club presence both out in the field and in assembly area. Another one done!
