3rd race of the autumn series. I big mistake of the lot... I went 8-10-9-10... cost me a minute or two. Some tricky controls that were a close to being a bingo control. Good race, good series, good fun with good people.

Hiking with Alex S. going over the last two maps at Como to discuss what to watch for, thumbing, orienting the map, etc. Como is a great map but it is tough to read when there is a lot of shades of yellow with grass, rough open, grass with trees, and pavement all using slightly different shades. There was a lot of, "we are on that trail", "where?", "there", "there is a trail there?", "yes..."

I think he gets contour tics, handrails, backstops, etc. Needs practice.
