Note
weight:186lbs

Seagate 1-Below Program. We had a weigh in prior to Thanksgiving, Final weigh in was this AM with the goal to be 1 lb lighter than you were at the start, i.e. don't pack on a Christmas belly. I didn't think I had a chance at this, but tipped the scale 4 lbs lighter. Don't know how that happened. I guess cookies and ham are the key to weight loss.... and couch time.

First loss for my Seagate team. Close match, but our goalie kept us in it. They could have scored a few more.

Yoga 1:00:00 [2]

Seagate Yoga... Need to do this more often.

XC Skiing (OTNT Ski-O) 38:58 [4] 5.66 km (6:53 / km) +55ft 6:47 / km
shoes: Salomon Equipe 10 #2

New found respect for the ski-O community. What doesn't work:

1) I've skied here before, I just need to glance at the map.
2) Cram the map under your jacket
3) Ski as fast as you can because you own this track.
4) Realize you don't know jack

The first event was kind of a mess. I skipped 3-4 short cut opportunities, botched another, face planted on a few... It was fun though, but I came in really cold.

XC Skiing 35:30 [4] 5.41 km (6:34 / km) +102ft 6:23 / km
shoes: Salomon Equipe 10 #2

Better go this time, but was getting tired. I think I did all the shortcuts possible, but still struggled on memory-O and holding the map vs. putting it in the jacket.

Great fun!

S2B #5 A great day for skiing. Could have been a bit cooler, which would have sped the skis up a bit. I was waxed for colder conditions, and through in a little rilling for the moisture, but the snow was slow....

Probably a good thing that things went slower. No spastic movements to aggravate the back.

Mr. Bullard did another fine job coordinating. A HUGE crowd. Awesome all around.

XC Skiing 40:37 intensity: (50 @0) + (4:59 @1) + (5:08 @2) + (16:05 @3) + (13:35 @4) 7.84 km (5:11 / km) +90ft 5:06 / km

Ski with Andrei, Biz and Tom out to the start of S2B#5. lakes are great for working of glide and V2.

XC Skiing 10:39 intensity: (6 @0) + (1:27 @1) + (17 @2) + (3:05 @3) + (5:44 @4) 2.48 km (4:18 / km) +63ft 4:08 / km

Short loop with Andrei, Tom, Biz and Jim. Wirth is groomed very nicely.
