I had to hang 7 controls in the far south east side of the park. I got lost twice...

Orienteering (Control Setting) 50:27 intensity: (11:33 @0) + (5:48 @1) + (8:07 @2) + (7:21 @3) + (7:12 @4) + (10:26 @5) 1.93 mi (26:07 / mi) +132ft 24:32 / mi
ahr:148 max:218 shoes: Salomon Speedcross 3

Put in another three controls. Wasn't lost, but could not find the boulder and my little piece of tape.... Raining with the map folded right over the control placement didn't help.

Running 1:02:01 intensity: (13:33 @0) + (2 @1) + (10 @2) + (10:16 @3) + (33:34 @4) + (4:26 @5) 7.39 mi (8:23 / mi) +439ft 7:57 / mi
ahr:162 max:226 shoes: Altra Instinct

Finally, after 4 weeks, I had enough time and was injury free enough to do a run. Felt pretty good. I grabbed a few guys to go with me, which created a little slower event, but that was probably in my best interest. Took one tumble, and was about to superman on the trail, when I tucked, rolled and popped right back up. Hollywood style!!!
