Christian and I went out on a nice Saturday AM to do a final vet for Friday night. He had some issues finding my tapes... some controls should have been easy to find.... so we decided to run the course together on the route the racers will take.

First one he could not locate.... our tapes were 10' apart. :-) The nest tape, my tape was missing. There were several locations where my tape was missing. We found one tape in the parking lot, 7-800 meters from where I had hung it. One tape was just a nub. Clearly there was both human and animal interference.

Friday will be fun. Several new scratches to my alabaster skin...

First day of two sets.... First set is normal with a limit of 12 reps. 2nd set you do as many normal reps as you can (count stops there) and then do 2 negative reps with 10 count. My arms and legs were shaking when I was attempting to brush my teeth after the session...

Needed to get a run in. Feeling a bit sluggish. I went to the fitness center to see if there were any takers for a ridge run. They all looked at me a little cross-eyed. But, one of them was there because of the body project and I know that they have to have at least 1 supervised run per week. I didn't want to run alone. I told Chris, the BP leader that I was going to run the ridge and would take his supervised group. :-)

The ridge portion was a little slow. I stopped at a few spots and ran in circles while I waited for the stragglers. Once we were done with the ridge, I pointed them home and then ran the lake.

Great day for a run. Nice cool breeze.

Note

My GPS didn't track for the night O. Is there a way for me to draw my route electronically?
