Cycling 1:39:46 intensity: (7:51 @0) + (3:28 @1) + (10:41 @2) + (1:10:35 @3) + (7:11 @4) 30.4 mi (18.3 mph) +428ft

Road bike ride.... I love the MN trails, but think I am done. Hard to decide if I was riding like an idiot or whether it was everyone else.

Harriet (on the road) I had a guy put on his left turn blinker (there aren't any left turns) and then slam on the brakes.

Greenway (by mobiz palace) had two guys come out of the woods and lay there bikes across the trail while one was tying his shoe...

Too many people with headphones on...

West River road. wow, the stretch just south of the University Bridge could knock the teeth out of your head.

On the positive side, The new trail linking to the river is really nice. They did a great job.

Running 1:17:42 intensity: (9:16 @0) + (1 @1) + (2 @2) + (5:41 @3) + (1:01:28 @4) + (1:14 @5) 10.0 mi (7:46 / mi) +172ft 7:39 / mi

I finished the first run with CM, checked my phone and had an invite from Clark to pace him on his 10 miler. I had planned on going mountain biking, but getting out with Clark, and training the muscles to repeat when fatigued, sounded interesting. As a bonus, it probably cut about 2-3 hours (1 hour commute to Murphy) off of my workout time and probably fatigued me more than the ride.

Clark surprised me with the 7:50 pace request. I felt really good for the first 7 miles, then I started to get mildly bonky. The last .4 uphill miles weren't welcome.
