Wanted to get a longer run in today. I think if I run the ridge at Hyland and Normandale lake, I can get 8 miles in. I wanted to see where Andrei runs off the West side of the high peak, so I checked his log. He had just run the Hyland trails, so I changed my mind and did Hyland Downhill ridge and then Hyland XC trails. Andrei didn't log how muddy I would get.
Man Spanx: Wentzel Approved. Legs felt great when I was done. I was still tired, but no sluggish feeling through the upper leg.
Wildlife sighting: The frogs are out.... and so was a 2' tall coyote. Big dude.

Quick run at lunch. Only had a little time so I pushed it a bit. More than most runs lately.
I got some new compression shorts in the mail, so I tried them out. They come with a 4 step instruction pamphlet on how to put them on.... Super tight. Legs actually felt better than most recent runs. Will have to get out for a longer run tomorrow and see if they maintain the initial satisfaction rating.
