Felt like doo doo yesterday, so I emailed Andrei to see if he wanted to do the Suburbancross. I needed something to get me going. He jump in it. So, off we go.

This was a fun event. Just when you are comfortable riding in a peleton on a tight sidewalk, you move to a road, road changes to a gnarly hill covered in loose gravel, which converts to single track, which converts to road, which converts to double track, to single, etc. I would say the field divided by mile 4 ish. We didn't pass or get passed for the following 16 miles. Andrei had some light issues, so we had to ride close for the last 7 miles. Good times on a great night. We finished middle of the pack. 17 and 18 overall.

The MNOC crew had a good night.

Soccer 35:00 [3]

CSC league. 1-1 tie. 6 months since I have played and it showed... Everything felt awkward and I tweaked my back on the only shot I took...

Cycling (Single Track) 43:26 intensity: (1:14 @0) + (6:47 @1) + (9:50 @2) + (14:43 @3) + (10:52 @4) 7.66 mi (10.6 mph) +406ft

I stopped at the John Muir Trails to break up my 11 hour ride home from Terre Haute, IN. This is my first loop. A little tentative as I was expecting the trails to change in to some gnarly downhill with a foot of sand at the bottom. That is what I experienced when I did the SKMC two years back. Turns out that is a completely different section of the park. These trails were sweet. In great shape, great flow, really nice.

Cycling (Single Track) 54:45 intensity: (2:17 @0) + (6:37 @1) + (18:37 @2) + (19:11 @3) + (8:03 @4) 8.0 mi (8.8 mph) +506ft

Second Loop at John Muir. Cathy Diamond met up with me and we set out for another loop. We used the same trail for a portion, then went out on a longer leg. Cathy is joining us at CP Tracker Nationals. Another good ride. I took a digger on an awkward uphill turn, but other than that, more great trails!!!

Cathy and I got to chatting, I forgot to start my watch.... I added the distance back in, but the GPS track does not show the missed section.

Cycling (Single Track) 20:03 intensity: (1:09 @0) + (4:00 @1) + (9:16 @2) + (3:37 @3) + (2:01 @4) 2.93 mi (8.8 mph) +166ft

One last loop. I think I did all the trail minus some small spurs. I know there is a link trail to the other portion of the park. You could probably ride 5-6 hours with minimal trail overlap out here. Well maintained and great flow.
