I went riding with a friend who told me she was up for a 30-50 mile ride with hills. Really, she was up for a 30 mile ride with hills, or a 50 mile flat ride.

We started at a good pace, but the hill leaving Afton took a lot of the wind out of her sails.

I printed out directions using google maps for biking.... They got a little confusing.... That is the reason for the blip on the western edge.

Great day for riding. Good fun.

Cycling (Road Ride) 1:30:00 [4] 26.5 mi (17.7 mph)

A fun fast ride with a triathlete friend. Will she convert to AR? Doubtful... she seems pretty committed to her sport. Will she do an event, probably... We'll get her out and run her through some thorns. :-)

Cycling (OTNT Alleycat) 1:21:32 intensity: (4:03 @0) + (36:01 @1) + (35:09 @2) + (5:31 @3) + (48 @4) * 17.22 mi (12.7 mph) +458ft

Fun OTNT hosted by Todd. Maps were new street-O maps from a new website??? I can't remember the name. I was a little burnt on map reading, so took the clue sheet and followed Darrin's expert nav. We ended up three controls shy and 25 seconds over time, but were the first one's back and were up there on the number of controls. I rode my single speed, which provided a different challenge. Fun.

No topo on the map, but very good for this type of event.
