I knew the weekend would get in the way of working out, so I hopped on the bike for a ride before the weekend really kicked off. I was hoping my friend, working at Lafayette would assist me with a water refill, but the tennis courts were vacant. I opted for Dairy Queen back in Minnetonka. I was feeling pretty good, passed a few guys in aero bars on the way back, then a real triathlete showed up and went by us all like we were standing still.

Note

I am in the process of repairing my bike after losing a derailleur in the PA 36. Replacement parts come in a variety of colors. I decided my derailleur should match the spider on my cassette (red). When I got the bike, I had a chance to get Crank Brothers skewers for cheap and matched the frame (blue). Now, I had to replace the derailleur cable and the only color they had was blue... a slightly different shade. I have seen my bike slowly transform from CX race, to lowrider/mexican bling mobile, and am now at Clown Car..... :-)

Lake run with Andrei. Good to get out for a longer run after a weekend of entertaining.
