I worked Habitat for Humanity on Saturday in St. Paul. I supervised the sheetrock crew and did a little lifting. Thought the day was over at 4, but they didn't have the roof covered and the guys helping out didn't look that comfortable on the roof. I jumped up for about 30 minutes of felt paper stapling. Not really log worthy activity.

Didn't get to do intervals with Clark today. Decided to run outside when I got home. I didn't have much time, so I decided I would do one long interval....
I looked at my pace with about 1.25 miles to go. I saw I was just under 7/mile with a big hill in my way, for some reason the hill was put in the back of my mind and instead I focused on the bench 10 yards in front of me. In 2002, my neighbor asked me if I wanted to climb Mt. Rainier with him. Of course I did. I wasn't playing soccer, wasn't running. My life consisted of 40-50 hours/week at work and 30-40 hours per week in my masters program. My neighbor called about this time of year and asked if I wanted to go for a run. I had been in MPLS for 3-4 years and had not even run around lake Harriet. Anyway, we left my house, and made it to this bench about 15 minutes later, for the first of two rest stops on our 5 mile run/walk. 2002 was a lifetime ago....
Last CSC soccer game for a while. We won the championship in a hard fought game. MoBiz hooked for a nice little 1-2-3-4-score... It wasn't super pretty, but no body minded except the other team. 1-0. League Champs. We won long sleeve painting t-shirts....
