Run around the lakes with Andrei 3000. New record speed for him, so he says. I think we were both pretty pooped after the run.

Cycling 2:24:56 [2] 31.67 mi (13.1 mph)

Ride with Dr. Dre. Disappointed that we could not do the entire Grand Rounds, one of the key bridges is out. We got a good ride in anyway with a little single track, ice cream, and helped Andrei clean his bike post ride.

Hmmmmm... a 2000' challenge and I came up short..... Is the pres. just winging these things? 2.2k per lap? I did the requisite 7 and got 15 miles.... I can live with the extra miles, but I need to find an extra 138'... :-)

Great event. It was fun to see everyone as we passed each other on the loop. Finished up just as the first drops were falling. Best food to date at an OTNT that I have attended. Thanks for hosting Erin.

I was on the receiving end of a "Can of Whoop A**" today. @nd day cycling with the Foyle Cycling club. A little odd for me to start a ride by downing a mouthful of cough syrup, but if that is what it takes.....

The pictures I posted of the mountain I was going to run, We went over it. twice. The first time, I was on the steepest portion of the hill, and my chain fell off. Instant stop, followed by panic, followed by a fall as I tried to yank my feet out of the pedals. Good Humor.

Big climbs mean big downhills. I don't really feel comfortable on the really fast twisty downhills, so I was getting dropped on the uphills and downhills.... i found out later that Saturday is for the "club", Sunday is for the racers....

On the way home, we were going about 18-20 in to a wind, we turned a corner and the group took off at 25 mph.... I made my way in, struugling to maintain 18 by myself for the last 4 miles. It was great fun, but humbling. My first rides in three weeks, I shouldn't be surprised by the struggles I had...

My bosses counterpart took me on his club ride this AM. Three weeks since I got saddle time, I needed it. I have a bit of a congestion issue going on, almost bailed, glad I didn't because it was a great group. 31 people showed. Good scenery and one hill that went on forever....

I was much more "on" in the relay, but the terrain was much easier. Day one was just crazy. Check out the map porn.
