Happy enough for the moment, stronger than last week.

Took note of some comments in training during the week; the mark wetmore approach. Relaxing / staying strong on the climbs, and trying to push on the descents. Seemed to work relatively well. Possibly ran with myself a bit, but was working well enough, and steady pace after the fast start, and came through a good few on the last lap too.

Surprisingly, Iano McCormack beat me by 30sec or so, having just barely beaten me last week, even though today felt stronger.

Rathfarnham - 5x 400, 4x 1k.
400s relaxed, stronger on the 1ks. Still not flying or anything, but will try to keep grinding away a few sessions to get em going.
cut the session down from 5x 400, 7x 1k, after the xc.
