rested the achilles all week, didn't really see much progress.
Tested it out a bit yesterday, and it was grand while orienteering, but tightened up a bit in the evening, and a bit tight again now.

Time to plough on with a bit of cross training, and a bit of running and see how it gets on. Have had issues cycling when the achilles wasn't great before, but sure hopefully be grand.

Mass Start gaffled on Loch Vaa

Started well with only some minor uncertainties due to no compass, and lead into 1 & 2, at this stage Spongey went by and Dan went awol. Was never keeping up with Spongey, but got through my gaffle before Dan came through me again, and just scronged home watching him slowly go away, with Ewan also going by on the track at the end.

Very good fun, rather out of breath after putting in effort for the first time in a long time - not helped by the deep snow.

Christmas Tree on Loch Vaa

Very enjoyable in the snow, and with some elephant tracks.
Mostly good apart from some direction which is mostly excusable given the circumstances.
