nice long easy cycle with laurence and cillin
not much free wheelin

stopped once on uphill cos chain was messed up... told other 2 to go ahead and soon caught them as it didnt take that long to fix

... generally jus chattin and havin a laugh got my top speed to 55km/h comin into kilternan/stepaside

some amount of adrenaline flowing on downhill.. considered riding as all 3 of us together... but i didnt hav a choice my body just said GO FOR IT!! :)..
not that i left the others for dead sure they were right behind me the whole time.. couldn't shake em' off :)

obviously couldn't

did lot of walkin recently which physio said to do... so that's good but it's not reslly training.. so didnt enter it

prob. did about 6hrs walkin over weeekend

long cycle with laurence...
similar route had to cycle to laurence's house and then back to rockbrook though.. very enjoyable was slow enough
didnt find uphill as bad as expected...
all in all good would definately do it again

physio yesterday went well...
ankle improving... new exercises... blah blah

then he set me a goal to be able to swim a km i.e. 40 lengths without stopping in a couple of weeks... i can barely swim 2 without stopping!! not gonna be easy

went for cycle around general rathfarnham/ dundrum/ churchtown area...

was nice... legs felt really good... just generally the training felt really good... its been too long since the wind was blowing in my face while running or cycling...i think its been a week and a half :)

anyway... tried not to freewheel at all... not that there were any real downhills and i tried to push myself on the uphills so went well

im a very weak swimmer so this is a good chance to improve... i guess
found it tough as i'm weak but was getting better

Swelling almost completely gone... almost

i am going to physio tomorrow... i'm hopeful it could be good news because it seems to be improving really quickly

tough on inj foot- hurts

Scottish day-1

most of the way through
1 bad mstake
1 route ended up really badly
1 pretty bad mistake

otherwise going well
was coming 20th out of 54 after 13 controls...

just about to spike no.14.... crack

ankle gone can't stand up... told sean to go on so he didnt ruin his run... hobbled back and it was swollen the size of a tennis ball- not an exageration.

prob. cant run for at least 1 month

bye bye scottish 6 day, denmark, mournes, Jhi's, warriors run
