While I was rolling on, I spotted a fairly fine specimen of a Division 1 basketball coach out for a fitness walk. Of course, it's difficult to determine exactly how fine of an example this one is, as basketball season hasn't started yet. But we have hopes.

Another stellar day outside. Stellar! It would have been mistaken for summer except that you can look around and see all the golden aspens, so you know it's for sure not summer anymore.

Rode by a house that was already Halloweened up.

Saw a big bull moose. Saw a smaller cow moose. Saw some other stuff, too. But saw no beaver in the beaver pond I ran by, which was odd considering it was dusk.

Note

I've completed a corridor of survey through the middle of the hole in the doughnut that is also known as the Happy Jack map. So now some figure 8 courses through the extremities of Happy Jack would be technically feasible, even if highly unlikely to happen anytime in the foreseeable future.
