run (snow) 1:59:00 [2]

Lots of new snow from last night, many ski tracks, many deer and deer tracks. But still no signs of grooming activity or snowsnakes. Ground still not quite frozen everywhere yet, and it would probably take a little more snow to make it worthwhile to fire up the machines. Chilliest day of the new water season so far. If it's 17F in Laramie as I write, it must have been colder up top. So fine!

Orienteering 3:04:00 [2]

Diamond Bay--many hunters bearing rifles and wearing pistols, big winds, big drop in temps at 5:45, and big snows beginning 20 minutes later. Skier all over the valley are celebrating tonight and are no doubt breaking out their wax kits.

biking 1:30:00 [3]

Windy, and nice weather otherwise, and nice = nice.

run (in terrain) 1:24:00 [1]

Orienteering 1:44:00 [4]

Out-of-category winds were raging as I ran at mystery reptile topo feature map, and my condition, given that I was wearing O' pants, could be best decribed as "too much wind, too little pants."

As I was driving home, clouds of snow were visibly being blown off the top of the Snowies--it must have been something on that highest ridge.

biking 33:00 [3]

Nice winds! Snow showers off in the mountains.

run 1:51:00 [2]

Snow not every step of the way, but an awful lot of steps of the way.

Mystery mineral object water feature area.

biking 1:10:00 [3]

Rogers Canyon as far out as the new pavement extends.

run 1:35:00 [3]

Snow every step of the way. Beautiful conditions for running, and some skiers thought the conditions were not bad for skiing as well.
