Coast path

Went left in the end as thought I’d want a longer run right.

Sun out so lovely morning for a run. A few people walking (blocking) the path.

Lovely scenery. The ups and downs of the path were ok in some places but hard in others.

Went as far as watergate bay, people surfing already, more getting lessons rather than proper surfing, surf of only 1-2ft based on the board. Maybe I should try and get some surfing lessons while I’m here...

(rest day)

Travelled to Cornwall. Sun shining here too:-)

Got a big car but it’s boot is no bigger than my own!

Hope to get out for a run on the coast path in the morning. Decision to make regarding turning left or right when I hit the beach. Thinking right.

(rest day)

Feeling a bit better. Lot of packing to do this evening, only a week but the extra person needs plenty of gear, even more than I would for an o trip!

Note
(sick) (rest day)

Throat bad again overnight, taking plenty of various things to try and get rid of it. Not too bad at work. Definitely more tired than normal.

Erik had Baby Olympics at his sensory class this morning, got a certificate for taking part. Didn't see any gold medals, but not sure it was that sort of Olympics. I'd say they all got certs.

Note
(sick) (rest day)

Had this planned as a rest day anyways but sore throat decided to add itself into the mix, definitely sore. Could feel it yesterday a bit but didn't think too much of it, certainly got worse overnight.

And plan to go the 4th of July parade also didn't happen, Erik not in the best of moods so we decided not to take him, doubt that improved his mood although he did sleep for the evening.

Knockreer

Warm this evening and could feel it. Took the opportunity to try and fill in some of the gaps in my tan by wearing a singlet.

Tired after work so getting out for a run nearly didn’t happen. 34 minutes is greater than 0, so I’ll take something from that. Legs feeling the affects of the last few days too, quads tired.

Ended up cutting along the bridle path to the river, thought it would be dry, it wasn’t. Think there’s some small path there that I’ve yet to find to get around the worst of the water/mud.

Lap of Dinis

Was tired after a day in the car, another couple of hundred km on expenses! But home early enough. Decided that something short would suit as wanted to get the grass cut too. Grass cutting didn’t take as long as expected too so it was a good evening.

Passed a chap on a bike before turning past the boat house. Then noticed he was still behind me so that meant I cycled a bit faster than I intended.

Only met 4 bikes coming against me.
