Upper Torc

On some familiar roads. Actually a lovely morning for a run, some nice sun to warm me up.

Plenty of people out and about too in the forest, met a few people, and also the Killarney MTB kids. The last person I met was just in front of Bill Cullen's place. Track was narrow and the woman had headphones in, so slowed down and waited until the track widened before still giving her a fright.

Happy with the way the legs were feeling today. Rest of the body a different story though. Chest felt sore. All due to circuits, still not recovered!

Killarney-Ballyhar-Fieries-Castlemaine-Milltown-Killorglin-Beaufort-Killarney

Only Mike and Pat out this morning so quiet enough. Weather good for September, dry which is a good start.

Getting out of bed was not easy. Body is an awful amount of pain, all down to circuits on Thursday, 2 days later it is really hitting home. Sitting on the saddle and pedalling was alright but getting out of it was a bit uncomfortable.

Legs got a bit tired towards the end of spin. At least we had the benefit of some wind on the spin back from Killorglin. Had a break too just on the climb up from Beaufort Bridge, traffic lights on the main road, looked like some sort of big hole to the right.

They are doing 120km spin tomorrow, but don't think that'll be for me, reckon some sort of a run. Ríocht doing a session in the morning, a 1234554321 pyramid, aimed at the cross country, but no chance of me turning up for that. Don't think i'll bother with Doneraile either.

Note
(rest day)

Off to Listowel Races this afternoon so not expecting to be home in time to train. Body tired and expect it to get worse later as the affects of going back to circuits become more pronounced. At least legs aren't feeling too bad. Upper body will be what's suffering.

Circuits 45:51 [3]
shoes: Adidas Supernova Black (2015)

1st class of the Autumn.

Started off with push-ups, I really am useless at them.
Good crowd there but uneven number so ended up on my own.
Tired when I got home.

Note
(rest day)

Wanted to go for a cycle but weather didn't co-operate. But also feeling a bit tired this evening after work, so feeling better for being lazy, probably suited me better to do feck all today. Will help recover from SHI.

Muckross

Was uncertain about running but decided to go for it. Worked out ok. Legs feeling ok, maybe some feeling in the Achilles but can't say it bothered me. Kept the pace low again and will continue to do so for a while when training. Some slower kilometres than inteneded.

Weather starting to feel a bit like winter. Dry though for the run.

Handy spin into town and back.

Some wind about and lots of water on the ground but since it was taking a break from falling from the sky I took the opportunity to get out.

Legs ok on the bike, but only ok.
