Running 19:04 [5] 3.5 km (5:27 / km) +52m 5:04 / km

Decided to re-run the GCSE PE route to boost my scores a bit now that I'm fitter. Managed to knock 2 minutes off :). Bit cringe but I'm honestly so proud of myself I fully cried. Probably won't be able to walk tomorrow lol

Running 56:16 [3] 7.8 km (7:13 / km) +137m 6:38 / km

With Henry. Not too far, not too fast. Pushed on one or two of the hills but later on felt some niggles in my knee so walked some bits. Hamstrings are also expressly tight. Enjoyed it :)

Note
(rest day)

More mocks this week so spent the night revising.
Legs are in bits anyway so I think I deserve a day off

Merthyr Mawr sand dunes. Messed up 1 quite badly as I couldn't seem to get to grips with the contours compared with the scale, managed to lose 4 mins. 2 was fine. Dodgy route to 3 as I went down the wrong spur but picked myself up reasonably quickly. 4 fine. 5 fine. 6 was a longer leg with lots of climb. I think I handled it well but popped out of the veg too far right. 7 was another longer leg with even more climb which I struggled with and then I caught Catrin up. The area around number 7 was vague and I lost touch with the map. Hannah caught us up and we found it together. Then we ran in a train for 8, 9 and 10 and I absolutely nailed those legs which I was quite happy with as I turned up the speed. Then on 11 I started to pull away but got caught in the veg. I messed up 12 and ended up way too high and Hannah and Catrin caught me up again. 13 was good and 14 started great and I pulled away again but took a wrong path out of the top of the big dipper and went up a huge hill that I wasn't supposed to - idiot. Then it was a run down a sand dune (very fun) and a slow sandy path run to the finish where Hannah and Catrin were waiting.
