Orienteering 1:24:00 [3]

CSC final in the Scottish borders. It was raining and windy.
Did the orabge course.
Got very confused at the start - the control was on a fence, but there was only a wall in the direction the compass was pointing, the fence went in a different direction - uphill!!
Also found number 6 very difficult, but Henry caught me here & helped me. But then I helped him with number 9.
Beat Mummy by 2 seconds on the run-in, too.
Finished last of all those who finished :(

Trampolining 1:00:00 [3]

More somersault practice :)

Orienteering 40:00 [3]

Berkswich orienteering on the Satnall Hills.
"Orange" course first with corner cutting, attack points etc, mostly with Adam, then the competition yellow course that I won.
Adam had the faster time, but missed one out. Not sure what happened to Henry - I think he got confused because Mummy swapped 2 of the boxes around by accident. She's a muppet!!

Bleep test 5:30 [3]

Back in the gym for Chasers training :o)
Bleep test for the first session - got to level 5.6, which is loads better than 4.8 that I got last time, even with a horrible cold. I stopped because my ear popped!!
And I beat Aunty Sue, but she was in the next group, so we weren't running at the same time...

Junior Chasers 30:00 [3]

Map geeking ahead of Sunday. Mum planneed us an orange course on the area and we had to simplify it and draw our own map, and then we went through it and had to find our attack points etc. Looks scary!!

Swimming 30:00 [3]

Orienteering 1:20:00 [3]

Orange course at Swynnerton.
Caught up Henry, then Holly caught us up, then Holly fell over and got lots of her prickles in her hand & retired, then me & Henry went down the wrong track, but we finished, and when I downloaded I was second!!!
My next (second ever by myself) orange course will be on a Scottish mountainside next weekend. It will be different!!

Orienteering 10:00 [3]

One loop on the Satnall Hills with Berkswich and my chest gave up the will to live. I'm still officially a snot factory (and still officially infested...).

Trampolining 1:00:00 [3]

I decided to ask if I could be taught how to do a somersault, & now I'm starting to learn. Exciting!!
Bouncing doesn't hurt my chest & make me cough and sneeze as much as orienteering in the rain :o)

Orienteering 30:00 [3]

The first Berkswich O club. Easy stuff around the playground, but then I stuffed up in the final race, went the wrong way at the start then kept making silly mistakes.

Orienteering 19:00 [3]

Domination sprint race in Lichfield.
Needed dinner, got in a strop and just walked.

Bike (mtb) 1:15:00 [3]

With Daddy.
Started off on the road & went to Brocton & up onto the Cross Chase Road to see if I can do the climb they will be doing on the Tour on Thursday without stopping. I can :o)
Carried on to Chase Road Corner, then headed back to Brocton Coppice avoiding the climb. Down the old railway line and home. Fast down the German Cutting giving a commentary to Daddy all the way!!

Dance 2:00:00 [3]

Back to PSSA. Rob was teaching us a horrible, difficult dance...

Trampolining 1:00:00 [3]

Could remember how to do swivel hips beautifully, and back drop & front drop, too. Full turn jump was a bit squiffy, though...

Note

So, a summer holiday of doing nothing? I don't think so...
3 weeks at the Gatehouse doing Peter Pan, a week at Grandma & Gramps with biking in the garden and stuff, and 2 weeks in Croatia swimming, snorkelling, wind surfing, kayacking & being active, but nothing structured enough to put into an AP log.
