BOSS #1 - O'Donnelltown

Still feeling a bit congested. Am improving by the day though, and today i just had the issue of phlegm seeing as i wasn't breathing through my nose anyway for puffing.

Somehow i made the cut for Elite riders (although i am third last on the list). Someone noted that the list would be refined so i think after today i will no longer be considered 'elite'.
So being the elite that i am, i did the Line course and the Score course. The line course was 8 controls that i completed in 42min.
The score course i had planned on clearing the eastern side of the M1 and then finishing. On my way to 232 i couldn't find the track in, and ended up taking another track that wasn't marked on the map. I should have turned in earlier though, seeing as this section of forest wasn't mapped.
Skipped 214 on purpose and went straight to 215 (later found out that 214 was a bit tricky anyhow). Overshot the turnoff to 215 and then again at 222. Spiked the last 3 controls and then decided that i didn't have enough time to get a 1 pointer so bailed and finished.

I had a hard time seeing the controls today. I got back to the finish and was asked how i went, and when i voiced the above, Kim,V,N told me that she didn't realise that she was meant to put flags out with the corflutes & punches. Ha ha silly silly. Ah well. Good fun and got pretty muddy. Cracking day to be outside.

Netball 36:00 [3]
(sick)

Spent the whole time trying to breathe. My head felt quite heavy and i felt quite slow. I am going to keep resting and not push it. I don't have anything that i am training for at the moment so i can afford the time to rest.

Note
(sick)

Flew home today. Being that we flew out at 11pm and landed in Sydney 4hr later (6am our AEST), i go a very restless sleep. I was then a shitty passenger and kept falling asleep on Steveo on the drive home.
Once home, we both fell asleep on and off for about 4hrs.
The cough is the main annoyance today, but since being home and taking some proper cold & flu tabs rather than just Panadol, my congestion has improved.
