Orienteering race 59:00 [4] 5.5 km (10:44 / km) +214m 8:59 / km

WNL Gwaelod-y-Garth. Looking forward to this. odd and evens on steroid due to small size. Double sides with two sets of controls on each side. Messed up straight from start by doing one of one set and then the very next one of the second set on that side. That at least made the tactics from there fairly obvious try and get all of the set I was now on and then the other two sets from the other side. Ended up a couple short of this so not too bad but there were 3 very close to the one I did to start that would of been better and skip one more out in the sticks of the others for 2 more controls for sure was posible.

Still 21 was not to bad (28 for Marcus) and my nav was reasonable. Think the brambles may of grown a touch since the last time here and it was really slippery in places but still great fun.

Guessing distance as the gps has all but gone on the old active. I was going to try using the replacement one I have but the Text to speech is not working on it so it's no good for timing the event.
