57.123km with 1043m climb in 3:03:08.

Not clear what to do first went for blue and then messed up before first checkpoint some extra up hill on footpath and stop it relocate. Ok from there. Decided to skip 10 point 2 as clearing looked not to ne on and it was a good nit extra. Under half time at changeover so going for all the reds. 21 to 5 was a nightmare foresters had been in and it was just hell. Road most of it but not much difference to walking had to clear the mud a number of times and the bike weight felt like it doubled. Missed track exiting 9 ended up with a bit of a run and carry to get down to where I could see cars on a track. Hard work into finish with big climb. Just a bit late but kept pushing which was just as well.

486 same as Mark but I was 40s quicker. Iowna third just a couple of minutes slower. I had seen her going the other way lots of times.

9.546km with 8m climb in 0:54:10. Qo wnl Taunton. No obvious route went red first. Struggled to see map espcoaly where the gaps were. Was a good bit of running a log way around. Got through reds well under half time so confident of clearing by blues seemed further.

Fairly happy but the urban nature mot my thing realy. Beaten by Scott and I presume some others.
