55.960km with 1253m climb in 3:35:30. 3.5 hour mtbo from Tintern. Scheduled to rain all the time. Wore long sleeved top and gray cag with shorts.

Set out to new bit across the bridge from Tintern first. Down old railway was fairly fast but splashy 121. first climb across b road for 120 back to road. Turned in on footpath before bw for 122 ended up pushing over some limestone payment hidden in the wood which was a surprise. Road route for 111 decided to skip 106 so down to 110 and river level.

101 nice tracks to 112 around top out and back for107. Skiped 108 so straight to 102 Skiped monster climb for 123. Out and back by river for 118 had trouble finding it.

Across river big climb for 113 missed a turn 3 mins. Good tracks 125 and 114 109 trouble finding again. 117 in wrong place but I had heard it was high so no big loss. Over the top for 124.

Back to river level for final loop 30 mins to go long road climb getting 105 on way to 116. Fast back down 119 104 115 then rough track for road finish.

Pleased with route getting final loop critical. Good win from mark and Clare.

14.848km with 223m climb in 0:52:13. Army mtbo. Managed to forget map board so map in bag around neck on string then pinned to chest.

Nice course but I probably missed some nice single track as I was sticking to main tracks for better map memory. Managed to try and miss out 3 controls as line from 12 went straight through finish. Got told at download AMD sent.back to finish.it.

18.820km with 268m climb in 1:11:31. Too nice a day not to have another spin out. A really nice hours loop just off junction 15 of m4. There really is a lot of nice riding here especially when dry. Almost tempted to think about outing on an event some time.
