Cycling (road) 2:10:04 64.3 km (2:01 / km) +700m 1:55 / km
shoes: Scott RC1

Severn saturday ride. Lots of indesision at the start due to the icy roads. Headed out down A38 I was leading but no-one wanted to follow me down Tockingtoin hill... Had a couple of nice alternatives planned over the bridge. Headed on down the A38 the pace picking up quite a bit (Chris Madge Anna Mark etc.) We were sheding people as we went. Got to the Slimbridge RB in under the hour and turned around and started heading back!!! gathered everyone up but not for long as we raced along to the Falowfield traficklights where we eventualy got off the A38, waitied again up the hill (hung on to Chriss and Anna and PinorreloPaul rest well back) Then along to Cromhall and the second half of the boxing day 10 again some real speed just managing to hang on in there. People pulled into the garden center after Iron Acton presumably to visit the cafe but I tootled on home.

Probobly good training but not what I realy want on a Saturday. If we have conditions like this again then I will go on my own if needs be on a more senic ride, expect I would get some company in practice though.

Orienteering race (Park) 55:00 [3] ** 8.0 km (6:53 / km) +30m 6:45 / km

SWOC score event Pontcana Fields Cardiff. Very stiff calfs all the way round could not push at all. Funny format of a score event but bonuses for doing the flags in number order (or reverse) I did 13 to 25 in order but did not realy get a great bonus for it.

Cycling (MTB) 1:10:00 [3] 15.0 km (4:40 / km) +390m 4:08 / km
shoes: Blur

A lap of Cawm Carn. All the snow gone but found it colder than the other day there was a stiff breeze blowing up the top and I had to stop and put my cag on. Got the fork better sorted, maybe a bit to quick on the rebound will slow it down a bit next time out and see.
